Open for business.
A pretend cash register for kids. Your child builds the shop, sets every price and serves the queue - taking real notes and coins in your country's own money.
Then the bit that makes it click: print play money, price tags and barcode stickers, tape them to real toys, and scan them at the till with the camera. Real barcodes, all imagination.

How a game goes
Your shop, your rules
There are no levels and no timer. Your child is the boss of the whole shop, and the game is the one kids have always played across the kitchen table - with a till that beeps, cha-chings and throws confetti.
๐ช Build your shop
Choose a ready-made shop with stocked shelves or make one from scratch. Give it your own name, pick its picture, set every price and put things on sale. Anything in a ready-made shop can be changed later.
๐๏ธ Next customer, please!
Teddies and grown-ups queue up. Ring up their order on the register, take their money, and work out whether what they handed over is enough.
๐ค Give the change
Tap in the money the customer hands over, and the till counts the change out in front of them - exactly which notes, exactly which coins - the way the register does at the real shops.
๐ Make the shop yours
Takings go into the bank. Spend the pretend earnings on a shop puppy, new shelf pictures, a golden shopfront or Disco Night. Upgrades can be paused and switched back on whenever the shopkeeper wants.

Learning in disguise
Money lessons, without a worksheet
Somewhere between the third customer and the confetti, real arithmetic happens: recognising notes and coins by sight, adding up a basket, deciding whether $10 covers a $6.38 burger, and seeing the change counted out from real coins.
It works in sixteen currencies - dollars, pounds, euros, yen, ringgit, rupees and more, each with familiar notes and coins. Ready-made shop prices and money-based Award goals are scaled sensibly for the selected currency, so a hundred yen is not treated like a hundred dollars.
And because the money is real, the mistakes are real too - the till gently shows what is still owed and waits. No ticks, no crosses, no worksheet.
Off the screen and onto the floor
Print it, tape it, scan it
This is the part that turns screen time into craft time. Everything prints on plain A4 from your ordinary printer:
- ๐ต Play money - notes and coins branded with your child's own shop
- ๐ท๏ธ Barcode stickers to stick on real toys, tins and teddies
- ๐ณ Pretend bank cards that scan, beep and approve at checkout
- ๐ฒ Shelf price tags, including sale prices
- ๐ Menus with breakfast, lunch and dinner sections
- ๐ชง Table signs, open signs, SALE posters and real-looking receipts
- ๐ฆ Fold-up packets, a shopping bag, wallet, lists and loyalty cards
- ๐ Personalised keepsakes for Awards earned in the app
Hold a printed sticker up to the camera and it rings itself up on the till, just like the supermarket. The lounge room becomes the shop.

A reason to open again
Thirty-seven Awards, without breaking the game
The Awards page gives shopkeepers clear things to try next: serve a busy counter, scan stock, count change, reopen on another day, fill the shelves or run a restaurant. Every goal says exactly what counts and money goals adjust to the selected currency.
Wins are saved quietly and never cover checkout. Back on the Awards page, children can see their progress and turn an earned Award into a personalised certificate with their name, shop and a special note. Everyone can preview it; printing it is included with The Whole Shop.
A playable toy till, right on this page
Your turn
This little register works. Tap a few things to add them to the order, then hit Pay!
In the real app your child also takes the customer's money, hands back the change and banks the takings - that part is theirs to run.
From the printer to the cha-ching
Watch it happen
See the whole thing in action: a teddy and a ball scanned at the till, paid for, change given - and then the reveal. The barcode stickers came out of the family printer, got cut out, and were taped straight onto the toys.
The core print-and-scan loop and the full till are free on both stores.
For parents
Screen time you don't have to feel funny about
๐ No accounts, no ads, no analytics and nothing sent to anyone - the App Store privacy label simply reads "Data Not Collected". The whole game lives on your devices. And half of it isn't on the screen at all - it's cutting out price tags at the kitchen table. The details and FAQ live on the grown-ups page.
For teachers & homeschoolers
A shop corner that runs itself
๐ Money recognition, addition, giving change, menu writing and plenty of talking - one till on a classroom iPad plus printed stickers and price tags makes a hands-on numeracy station with no prep. Sixteen currencies, so it teaches the money your class actually uses. More for teachers.
